Experience Italian history in all its splendour at this Luxury villa for rent in Veneto, a spectacular residence that dates back to the mid-16th century, set on a glorious estate with vineyards, woodland and a 27-hole golf course. In an elevated position, this former hunting lodge was created by a Renaissance architect and painter in the mid-1500s and has since undergone a superb restoration with the help of a renowned Parisian interior designer in recent years.

Guests also benefit from being within walking distance to the estate’s 27-hole golf course. It’s great being so close to the vibrant and historic town of Padua with plenty to keep all ages occupied.
A boat trip is a fantastic way to see some of the sights of Padua, covering its river and waterways that were once thriving with longboats and gondolas. Look out for picturesque river trips on the nearby River Brenta too, some even travel as far as Venice, stopping off at some superb residences en route.
Padua is a town that is popular with cyclists too – so hire bikes and join in with the locals and students who whizz across town on the cycle paths.
The town also has some beautiful parks and you may even come across a play area near the large arena. Prato Della Valle is a pleasant area with lots of space to run around by the large fountain.
Or spend a fun day out at the waterpark Parco Padovaland, just outside the town centre.
If some of your guests are heading to nearby Abamo Terme for a spa day, then entertain children in the Butterfly House with its woodland fairy trail.
The beaches of the Venetian Lagoon can be reached in around an hour, as can the historic city of Venice itself which will captivate children of every age!

Inside the villa, an intimate reception can be held with dinners for up to 25 people.
A reception with more guests could be hosted under the loggias outside with space for up to 60 guests. For further capacity, an external structure will need to be set up. Dancing is permitted in an external structure such as a large tent with music continuing until midnight.
Wedding Ceremony
There are many romantic spots across the garden where a ceremony can be beautifully set up.
Where to Stay
Up to 12 people can stay in the villa across its four historic doubles and three further simpler double/single bedrooms.
The estate also features rental apartments for up to 24 more guests.
Other accommodation can be found in and around Padua, a 15-minute drive away and transport can be arranged.
Wedding Planning
Clients may use the villa’s own wedding planner or bring their own, on request.
The owners can also provide details of local wedding suppliers for a variety of services.
Catering
The owners can put guests in touch with local catering companies or, on request, guests may use their own.
As this is a wine-producing estate, guests are expected to serve the villa’s wines.

Events can be held from June to September.
There is also the option to hire the villa for a day event only (and in some circumstances arrangements can be made for just the newly-weds to sleep at the villa that night) – please enquire.
