    • On days when you want to hit the shops and spend the day strolling through streets filled with a lively buzz then you are perfectly placed to drive to so many amazing locations. Two of the best-loved are Volterra and Pisa which can be reached within the hour. You will find yourself transported from the rolling Tuscan hills to stunning winding streets filled with bars, restaurants and beautiful piazzas.
    • Volterra is a Tuscan town which is packed with both Roman and medieval history. There are some great combined tickets you can purchase to make a day of it in Volterra which enable you to visit museums, art galleries and palaces which are all near to each other. This way you can see all of the best local art and culture before visiting a traditional restaurant to unwind. Volterra is also famous for its alabaster stone carving and some beautiful items can be picked up in the region in artisan shops.
