The white sandy beaches and crystal-clear sea of Sardinia will appeal to all ages, whether you’re travelling with youngsters who will love splashing around in gently shelving water or older kids who can take part in a range of watersports from stand-up paddleboarding to sailing.
The local beach club has a swimming pool, green space and access to a private beach or there are many other idyllic beaches within a short drive. The clear sea is perfect for snorkelling and there are also many diving sites close by.
A lovely family day out is a trip to the stunning La Maddalena isles with glorious beaches, great walking trails and picture-perfect restaurants for lunch by the sea. Look out for dolphins on the boat trip!
Walking, mountain biking and horse-riding are all great ways to discover this diverse and spectacular region. For a complete change of scene, the waterpark Aquadream is a popular day out close to Baia Sardinia, around half an hour away.
